UPM X CSM AWARD WINNER
INIM was honoured with both the Design and Sustainability Award at the Central Saint Martins x UPM Exhibition, held during the 2023 London Design Festival. The exhibition brought together a diverse selection of projects exploring new approaches to design, with a strong focus on sustainability, material innovation, and responsible practice.
Presented within a curated showcase of work from leading graduates and emerging practitioners, INIM examined how design can act as a mediator between material culture and environmental responsibility. The award, selected by a panel of industry professionals and sustainability experts, recognised INIM’s ability to move beyond surface-level aesthetics, offering a response that is deeply grounded in ethical thinking and long-term impact.
Organised in collaboration with UPM – The Biofore Company, the exhibition featured projects that tackled urgent ecological questions through experimental processes and forward-thinking materials. INIM stood out for its careful research, conscious material choices, and cohesive design language—earning distinction among a cohort of ambitious, future-oriented works.
INIM aims to be a part of the growing conversation around how design can create positive change—not only through what we make, but through how and why we make it.
